Hole 3
One of the hardest holes on the Island course a player is faced with a long iron or fairway wood to a well protected green. 6 meters is all that separates the right edge of the green and a lost ball into the Yarra on the right. The tall gums on the river bank make hitting a draw difficult. Any player who bails out too far left is trapped by a deep greenside bunker. The play for most golfers will be to layup as close to the front edge as possible and rely on your short game to make a par.
