A demanding tee shot with the Yarra River down the entire left side and large gum trees right, finding the fairway is always an achievement here. For the longer hitters thinking of reaching the green in two, your tee shot will need to hug the left hand side of the fairway bringing the water into play, as any drive right will be blocked out by the slight dogleg right 120 meters short of the green. The green is long and narrow meaning approach left or right will be faced with a difficult up and down. The green slopes back to front so leaving the ball under the hole can be an advantage when it comes to holing a putt and making a good score.
